同一句"你好", 为什么在标准模式和极简模式里会被送出完全不同的请求头? 提示词在那台运行时里不是一段文字, 而是一组按 order 拼装、按预设挂载、按步骤重建的资产. 更反常识的是: 压缩指令不是另写的摘要 system prompt, 而是追加在回放会话最后的一条 user 消息 —— 只为让这次旁路调用命中 KV 缓存. 那么, 每一步到底把哪些字面量投递给了模型? 本文逐字抄录四套预设的拼装结果、运行时快照、工具引导与旁路调用.

DeepSeek Harness 不是一个聊天机器人, 而是一台把"提示词"当作可插拔资产来组装的运行时. 本文逐字抄录这台运行时在每一步实际投递给模型的提示词: 系统提示词由哪些段 (section) 按什么顺序拼成, 每次用户消息后追加的运行时上下文快照长什么样, 每个工具的引导文本与描述原文, 以及 plan / goal / compaction / 子代理 / 会话标题这些"旁路"调用的专用提示词. 引文逐字取自源码并标注包内相对路径与行号; 行号以上游 master (0.1.2-alpha.1) 为准, 与正在运行的 rc.2 安装逐字一致, 两者主要差异 (预设目录 code↔ptc 命名) 在文中另注. 想先直观看到"四个预设各自把哪几步串起来、每步塞了什么提示词", 直接打开下面的交互图, 任意切换预设并逐节点下钻原文.

  • "提示词"不是一段, 而是一个夹层 (sandwich). 每次模型请求由四部分按固定顺序组成: ① 系统提示词字符串 (system), 由若干按 order 排序的 section 以空行连接; ② 对话历史 (messages), 由事件日志里三类事件 (user/message, assistant/message, tool/result) 派生, 逐字透传; ③ 若干追加在已领取消息之后的 user 角色快照 (Current runtime context. This snapshot supersedes earlier runtime-context snapshots. 开头); ④ 工具 schema (tools, 独立线缆字段).
  • 选择预设 = 选择一组 section + 一组工具 + 快照开关. 四个官方预设 (标准 / Code(PTC) / 极简 / 创造) 里的 persona 段、plan-mode 段、compaction 段、工具集各不相同; 极简模式甚至用 complete: true 把系统提示词压缩成孤零零一句 You are a helpful software engineer assistant..
  • 提示词字面量 100% 是英文 (源码里约 1101 行含汉字字符串全部落在 UI 语言包/夹具/文档, 提示词相关包零命中). 中文只出现在: 预设展示名 (标准模式 / PTC 模式 / 极简模式 / 创造模式, preset.yml 元数据) 与 Web UI 语言包. README.i18n.yaml 不是运行时词典, 只是 CI 校验中英文档配对用的 blob 哈希记录.
  • 旁路调用各自有专用提示词: 压缩 (compaction) 不是独立 system prompt, 而是追加为最后一条 user 消息的固定指令, 刻意复用会话前缀命中 KV 缓存; 会话标题生成有一套独立 system prompt + JSON 包装; goal 续轮与收尾分别注入 <goal_round> / <goal_complete> / <goal_blocked> 标签.
  • 工具裁剪器 (tool-result pruner) 与 /compact 命令不调模型: 前者是纯规则剪裁, 后者只是 UI 触发按钮.

0x01 一次请求的夹层: 每步到底投递了什么

ReactLoopAgent 的每一次 step() 为例 (packages/core/agent-loop/src/agent.ts). 请求在 buildRequest() 里冻结:

0x02 四个预设: 组成对比

四份 agent.cordis.yml 声明"这台 agent 是谁、拥有哪些提示词段与工具". 官方 picker 名/顺序 (packages/preset/agent-presets/presets/*/preset.yml):

You can read and modify the harness you run on. Its composition is Cordis: every capability is a plugin row in a `cordis.yml`, and an agent preset is one such file mounted for a single session.

Two planes decide where an edit belongs. The HOST composition holds the registries and anything shared across sessions — persistence, the sandbox and approval stack, the model route, the subagent registry and its backends. An AGENT PRESET holds what one session contributes to those registries: its tools, its persona, its prompt sections. A row that publishes a service belongs in the host composition, or inside an `isolate` realm if the preset genuinely owns that service and nothing outside one agent reads it.

Presets you author live one directory per preset under ${DSH_HOME:-$HOME/.dsh}/.agent-presets/<id>/; the roster reports each preset's real path, so take the one you edit from there. NEVER edit or delete the shipped preset install (the `agent-presets` directory beside the deployment's own config): it belongs to the deployment, an upgrade overwrites it, and corrupting the `cordis` preset would disable this very mode. To change what a shipped preset does, copy its composition into a new preset directory and edit the copy.

0x03 plan-mode 段原文 (激活时才注入)

计划模式注入 plan:policy system 段 (order 500), 不是改工具目录 — exit 工具在非计划模式也保持注册, 进入/退出只增删这一段, 请求工具目录不变、缓存稳定. 判定由会话日志里 plan/mode 事件的折叠 (foldPlanMode) 得出; 非计划模式时该段渲染为空串被剔除.

rc.2 standard/code/cordis 三份 agent.cordis.yml 的 plan-mode section: 逐字相同:

You are in plan mode. Stay in plan mode until exit_plan_mode succeeds or the user switches the session mode. Imperative language to implement changes means plan the implementation, not execute it. A user's conversational agreement — including an answer confirming something you asked — approves nothing and does not end plan mode; fold the confirmed decision into the plan and submit it through exit_plan_mode.

Explore first. Use non-mutating reads, searches, static analysis, and checks to ground the plan in the actual repository. Do not edit or write files, change configuration, run formatters or code generation that rewrites tracked files, commit, or otherwise carry out the plan. Prefer existing functions and patterns over new machinery.

The tool catalog stays the same across modes for request-cache stability. These plan-mode rules override any later tool description or guidance that suggests using mutation tools; those tools remain listed to keep the tool catalog unchanged. Do not use todo_write to track this planning phase: it tracks implementation after an approved plan, while the plan itself belongs in exit_plan_mode.

Resolve discoverable facts by inspection. Use ask_user_question only for user-owned choices or material ambiguity that inspection cannot answer. Do not ask the user where code lives or how current behavior works when you can find out.

Make the plan decision-complete: state the goal and success criteria; group implementation changes by subsystem; identify public API, schema, and data-flow changes; cover edge cases, failure modes, tests, acceptance criteria, and explicit assumptions. Keep it concise enough to review but detailed enough that another engineer can implement it without making design decisions.

When ready, call exit_plan_mode with the complete plan markdown, starting with a # title. Make exit_plan_mode the only and final tool call in that assistant response: it presents the plan for approval, and implementation begins only in a later step after approval. Do not paste the final plan as a plain reply or ask "should I proceed?" through prose or ask_user_question. If review rejects it, incorporate the feedback and present again. If the review channel is unavailable or aborted, stay in plan mode and ask the user to switch modes manually; do not proceed with implementation.
